I can't believe 6 months have gone by - probably no one left to read this, but...

I will start anew.  What have I been up to?  July found us suffering through HOT weather - 110 plus but so did lots of other people so not complaining - at least it wasn't humid.  We had a measly 2 inches of rain in the last rain season.  The season will be half over Dec 30th and we are at 3 inches.  Hoping for a lot more in the next three months - our typically wet months.  Aug was hot too.  We had swim lessons for William, beach days and a few short trips with family.  One was to my husband Cactus Society show.  I took Will with me and got in this shot.  I told him to be very
quiet so that the dino wouldn't see him.  See for yourself. At the Jurupa Mountains Cultural Center

In October, I treated my mother to an Elderhostel in San Antonio, TX - Wow was that fun and interesting and informative.  There is a lot to do in San Antonio!  We filled the week easily.  Our hotel was right on the riverwalk - and I highly recommend it as a tourist destination.

Bookwise - here is a listing of some of our newest additions to our inventory at:
